About the project

Aimed at reviving a stagnant high-street retail experience, Siobháin worked with the Eason senior executive team to manage, direct, and motivate 11 internal cross-functional category teams to deliver a refreshed and inspired retail strategy and customer experience.

Having conducted extensive audit and performance research and analysis of the product and customer propositions across the brand and key trading categories new product and category opportunities were identified.

The project involved extensive stakeholder management across all segments of the business to achieve approval for a refreshed brand articulated across all key customer touchpoints, from retail to on-line.

Working alongside internal teams and external agencies, Siobháin then managed the design and delivery of the flagship and principal stores across the store network, resulting in an attributable increase in footfall, transaction values and performance per linear meter, by category, across the store.

The final part of the project involved the creation of guidelines enabling the Store Development Team to roll out the new store design across the entire estate of stores.
